In the town of Petralia Soprana arise the first Adventure Park of Sicily, appreciated as much by nature lovers as by those in constant search of adventure. In fact, it stands in one of the region’s most beautiful nature areas, in which 80% of Sicily’s biodiversity thrives.
Several activities are proposed, among which high acrobatic routes that will challenge your agility and your bravery, as well as providing an exciting opportunity to get in touch while havig fun at the same time.
Ten adventure trails, three of which easier for children and seven more difficult for adults, organized in completely safety and with the constant presence of instructors who will provide participants with all the information they need to tackle them. Each trail is characterized by obstacles of various difficulties and height, being also marked by a different colours – from the orange path to the black path.
The other activities of eco-sport the Park offers are:
- orienteering, a group effort that involves exploring nature using a map and compass;
- archery;
- powerfan jumping, simulating a parachute jump from a height of 10 meters;
- mountain bike trails;
- 4×4 excursion, for a complete immersion in nature, discovering unknown places.
There is a picnic area inside the park equipped with tables and barbecues so you can cook or enjoy your picnic lunch outdoors, but there are also food stations where you can buy it.
Moreover, the park offers unnique experinces within the national territory, as the possibiity of staying in one tent suspended in trees or in one on the ground. From 2017 onwards it is also possible to choose the stay in a treehouse.
