Timeless seems to be the whole territory on which the baglio stands, almost like a window on a distant past. The nature that originally characterised the entire Madonie area is still the same here, escaping from the reforestation that has forever changed the face of the land. Official traces of the village date back to the 19 th century, but human presence here is much older. It is therefore a place where history and nature meet, where time passess slowly and the clean air fills the lungs.
